பிரதமர், சோனியா, ராகுல், கூட்டணி கட்சிகள் புடைசூழ வேட்பு மனு தாக்கல் செய்த பிரணாப்!
டெல்லி: ஜனாதிபதி தேர்தலில் போட்டியிடும் காங்கிரஸ் கூட்டணி வேட்பாளர் பிரணாப்
முகர்ஜி இன்று தனது வேட்பு மனுவை தாக்கல் செய்தார்.
பிரதமர் மன்மோகன் சிங், காங்கிரஸ் தலைவர் சோனியா காந்தி, பொதுச் செயலாளர் ராகுல் காந்தி, மம்தா பானர்ஜியின் திரிணமூல் காங்கிரஸைத் தவிர்த்து காங்கிரஸ் கூட்டணிக் கட்சித் தலைவர்கள், கூட்டணியில் இல்லாத முலாயம் சிங், லாலு பிரசாத் யாதவ், ராம்விலாஸ் பாஸ்வான் ஆகியோர் புடைசூழ அவர் தனது வேட்பு மனுவை தாக்கல் செய்தார். திமுக சார்பில் டி.ஆர் பாலு உடனிருந்தார். அதே போல மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சர் ப.சிதம்பரமும் வந்திருந்தார்.
மேலும் தன்னை ஆதரித்து வழிமொழியும் வேட்பு மனு படிவத்தில் முதலாவது கையெழுத்தை பாஜக கூட்டணியில் இடம் பெற்றிருக்கும் ஐக்கிய ஜனதா தளத்தின் தலைவர் சரத் யாதவிடமிருந்து பிரணாப் முகர்ஜி பெற்றிருந்தார் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
தனது வேட்பு மனுவை நாடாளுமன்ற அலுவலகத்தில் உள்ள மாநிலங்களவை செகரட்டரி ஜெனரல் வி.கே. அக்னிஹோத்ரியிடம் இன்று காலை 11 மணிக்கு பிரணாப் முகர்ஜி தாக்கல் செய்தார்.
ஜனாதிபதி பதவிக்கான தேர்தல் ஜூலை 19ம் தேதி நடக்கவுள்ளது. வேட்பு மனுக்களை வாபஸ் பெற ஜூலை 4ம் தேதி கடைசி நாளாகும். வாக்கு எண்ணிக்கை ஜூலை 22ம் தேதி நடக்கும். அன்றே முடிவுகளும் வெளியாகும்.

SIVAGI IS KARNAN RERELEASE 100 TH DAYS
It is probably for the first time in the history of Tamil cinema that a movie runs for a solid 100 days in spite of being a rerelease.
And the honour goes to Karnan, the timeless Mahabharath classic of thespian Sivaji Ganesan, directed by B.R. Panthulu.
For some it is ‘Sivaji magic’, for others it is evergreen songs tuned by Viswanathan-Ramamoorthy and for a few others, it is seeing something from books come alive.
Whatever be the reason, the digitally-enhanced version of Karnan, released by Shanti Chockalingam of Divya Films, is running to packed houses in Chennai, Tiruchy, Kovai, Tirunelveli and Nagercoil and touching the 100-day mark on June 23.
The new version was reworked at a cost of Rs 40 lakh for the last three years by a team of fans of the Nadigar Thilagam and has reportedly grossed Rs 5 crore. While Sivaji played the title role, Asokan played Duryodana, Muthuraman was Arjuna, and N.T.R., Krishna.
“I watched the digi-version of Karnan with my friend and cartoonist Madhan on the first day at Satyam Cinemas. People from different generations thronged the theatre. Sivaji’s unmatched charisma has drawn the present crop of audiences,” says distributor R.G. Venkatesh, an ardent fan of Sivaji.
“My dad was always keen to see the potential in a script for him to perform rather than going in for heroism! That’s his success mantra,” remarked his actor-son Prabhu.
Divya Films is to celebrate the 100th day grandly and plans to invite CM Jayalalithaa for the glitzy event as her mother Sandhya played the mother-in-law of Sivaji in the film.
Sivaji Peravai head Chandrashekaran said they have planned several charity programmes on the eve of the 100th day.
